MLK DAY…

Who knows or gives a bushel of sweet potato’s who made it a Federal Holiday.  (mmm … sweet potato’s),  It is and it makes me happy.  Happy because an honorable man is honored and I get the “day off” option.  I opt to do as I please, it may be work, it may not be work, but I have taken the time to think about the “why” of why this man was/is honored.

Best I can tell, this guy was a spiritual man, an honorable man, an upright man.  His actions, I believe, to be directly responsible for the way we live together today. Not as some would have you think it.  There is not a HUGE racial divide in this land of ours.  There’s only some pissed at some.  Some’s not a lot folk’s and they(some), can’t read a ballot.

On this day I have one over riding thought about the man’s memory.  If he were alive today what would he think?  Al… Jesse… .50 cent… what would he think?
