I missed the debate last night and by all the news I’ve read this morning my man Fred Thompson is affirming what I have known all along, he is the only choice for commander in chief. In the past I have expressed my vision of a “dream” White House. Fred Thompson with Newt Gingrich as VP. I found an older article here mentioning it.
The lovely Michelle Malkin had this to say about the debate last night and as usual she does an excellent job. I wish she would let some of her “smart mojo” creep over my way, we all know, “I’hm naht ah smaht mahen”.
Stop The ACLU had some excellent coverage.
More from The Moderate Voice. I love the moment Fred points out that Huckabee’s platform is not that of the republican party but that of the democratic party. OUTSTANDING! The only thing Huckabee has going for him in my opinion is the FairTax. I wish Fred would get on board with this.

I watched most of the debate last night and even though FT finally looked like he wanted to be in this race, his policies were not concise. All of the candidates spoke in generalities and told the crowd and Fox what they wanted to hear. There was only one, whose fiscal policies made sense. That was Ron Paul. He isn’t polished like Romney or Thompson or even McCain, but his policies make sense. We have to cut spending now, otherwise we are giving this country away to foreign dollars.
Just my opinion. Hopefully people see what I saw and not the Fox News and main stream media bias.
