SUGGEST THE MOST ANNOYING LIBERAL FOR 2007

If all goes as expected, I’ll be punching up the 6th annual “Twenty Most Annoying Liberals In The United States For 2007″ this week-end. While I’ll be making all the final selections in that article, I am open to suggestions.

So if you have anyone you think should be included, post their names in the comment section along with why you think they should make the list. A snappy quote from them wouldn’t hurt either if you happen to have one on hand. Do keep in mind that only things they’ve done in 2007 will qualify them to make the list.

OUR FUTURE HEALTHCARE

Here’s another little look into our future after Hillary Clinton (or any Democrat for that matter) places our healthcare into the hands of government.

Arlene Meeks is from Canada. In many parts of Canada it would be illegal for you to take your own money and pay for your own health care from a private provider. The Canadian government, you see, wants to maintain its monopoly on health care. It’s all about power. Anyway …. Arlene was visiting her family in California when she needed emergency surgery because her appendix burst. Lucky for Arlene, she was in the United States when this happened and she was able to seek immediate care. But two weeks later, Arlene still hasn’t been transferred back to Canada. She can’t go home. And why not? Because the South Fraser Health Region in British Colombia where she lives has a shortage of ventilated intensive care unit beds. They are saying it is because of the holidays, and it is no surprise that those beds fill up. So … no room for Arlene in the hospital. She has to stay in the U.S. The beds are full because the Liberal government cut acute care beds in British Colombia by 1,300. A report was issued last fall indicating that they are at least 650 beds short … but just like government, nothing has yet to be done.

This is the future of health care in the U.S. … and every vote for a MoveOn Democrats brings this future closer.

IOWA CAUCUS, BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, MIKE HUCKAJESUS, AND SINUS HEADACHES

Having been told over and over again that the caucus means nothing, I am starting to believe it.  I find it fitting that a man with a Muslim name, who belongs to a black racist church wins the democrat(S) nod in Iowa.  I mean he’s sooooo charismatic…… and completely unprepared to handle the job of commander in chief.  Should he win, start shopping for prayer beads and mark an arrow pointing to mecca on your ceilings.  Not saying he will personally invite Islam into our land directly.  But his liberal appeasement tendency’s will surely hasten our demise.

Mike pulled off a respectable win and the only thing that keeps me from being overtly hostile to him is, well, he’s a republican, a very liberal one, but a republican at least.  He’s a FairTax supporter as well.  So I will try to be nice, as if he would care one way or the other what I think…

Do I sound bitter?  A little dissatisfied with the whole thing?  Well, I am.  My man Fred Thompson didn’t do as well as I would have liked.  But he hasn’t moved into the southern states yet where he will certainly do much better.  Add to it the media coverage that’s getting a little tiring and my sinus headache that makes me want to bite my own face off… 

Wait a minute!  Some relief?  Is that Britney in an ambulance?

In addition to raising auto fuel efficiency standards 40 percent, an energy bill passed by Congress yesterday bans the incandescent light bulb by 2014.

President Bush signed the 822-page (!!!???) measure into law today after it was sent up Pennsylvania Avenue in a Toyota Prius hybrid vehicle. The House passed the bill by a 314-100 vote after approval by the Senate last week.
