THE WELFARE ENTITLEMENT CULTURE: #19 OF THE TOP 20 WAYS LIBERAL’S ARE DESTROYING AMERICA

December 22, 2007 · 13 Comments

Thank a democrat(S) for the “gimme”, uneducated, permanently government-dependant, underclass.  The New Deal coming out of the depression has long since passed its usefulness like so many laws and programs from decades ago.  When will the black community realize that no body owes them anything and those that appear to help with handouts are only there to keep you down and use you.  Please black citizens, open your eyes!  Sadly, it is so much a lifestyle learned from generation to generation, it may never find a happy ending.  But it must end.

Wonderful New Orleans with it’s rich history and culture, decimated by a natural disaster.  Billion’s from the federal government lost, a disgraced democrat Governor and an even worse democrat Mayor who it’s citizen’s, for some reason, decided to put back in office.  I know there are going to be many out there who blame President Bush for the Katrina ever happening, it was all a Haliburton scheme to generate revenue.  Nothing logical is going to come from your mealy mouth’s anyway.  A natural disaster is a state problem, not a federal problem.  Not to mention the insurance money that should have been pouring into the area, or any other area afflicted with a fire, tornado, et…  But enough about that.

Enter private investors who are tearing down uninhabitable, condemned “projects” to build new middle and low income housing.  Sounds great right?  Well to any of us who are logical, yes it’s a wonderful idea and will only serve to better New Orleans, its citizens and economy.  But there are those who think its a very bad idea, they would have you see it as “their” homes being torn down for the benefit of “rich white people.”  Fact is, the city and state owns those buildings and not those who are all too happy to continue the trend of crime, drugs, poverty and hopelessness in the projects.  Why so happy?  It was free.  Threaten the free ride and for lack of better common sense they resort to dramatics, racist remarks, violence and law suits.  Imagine what could get done if the same energy, passion and enthusiasm went into finding work and paying for their own way in life, instead of standing on the steps demanding more, more, more handouts, what a better life they would all have.

Please view the following three video’s and when finished, find the nearest democrat and thank them.  If you construe any of my words here as racist, then you have missed the message.  #19: The welfare entitlement culture is destroying large swaths of America.  Thanks socialist(D)!

The lovely Michelle Malkin has provided additional insight into the “circus” that is New Orleans.

There’ve been more than one republican majority in congress since the new deal. Mostly republican presidents since then, too. But it’s the democrats fault for generational welfare? That’s like saying Katrina is all Bush’s fault. Same faulty logic.

Demos didn’t force anyone to sign up for welfare. Bush released federal money for a state problem.

I do think there is a vested interest on the part of politicians to keep certain classes of people down by virtue of the hand out mentality. And it isnt’ restricted to lower classes (poverty stricken/crime ridden) even the middle class is getting into the act. And I agree, once the feds got involved in state problems the situation got worse and continues to do so.

In this day and age, perception is reality. If someone thinks they are oppressed and that any improvement sought is oppressing them, then only they can change their minds.

    Sad really.

Madmong: You are correct regarding republican majority’s and president’s and yes it is the democrat’s “fault” for generational welfare. They are alway’s the one’s pushing for more of it.

Anybody that praises Michelle “I’m Ann Coulter’s understudy but I really would rather be Bill O’Reilly” Malkin, needs to have his head checked lol :D

You’ve proably never been poor. Sometimes you can’t find something (like a job) because it ain’t there. Because rich white prick CEOs vote themselves 4 million dollar raises and then fire 3000 workers the next to compensate for the budget hole the raise just caused. Or they export the jobs to other countries so 12 year olds can do them for 4¢ an hour instead of a living wage. You need to check your logic dude.

Michelle and Ann are smart enough to keep my attention, Bill is a loud mouth and is annoying actually.

Never been poor? I am pretty poor my freind, but I get out every morning and do my best, never asking for a handout from the gub’ment.

I will concede that CEO’s bilk money away from companies that should be re-investing it back in and I hate the fact that jobs have gone overseas. They went overseas because of taxes and overhead. Let a dem socialist get in office and raise ‘em even more and see more jobs go bye bye to china…
    thanks for stopping by…

Companies export jobs because they to maximize profits by paying LESS wages because the base is what cost most. So by stopping the payment of reasonnable wages they make more money. Has nothing to do with taxes. Take away the taxes, they’d make more money and would still look to make more money by cutting down on wages. Because they live on the Constant Growth Model. As if it’s even logical, much less even executable as a concept.

Making a steady profit is never good enough when you can make MORE, always MORE. ANd to accomplish that, you have to cut, cut, cut. And that business model was created by a conservative called Milton Friedman. His whole ideal is to privatize everything, deregulate all prices and take all the power away from the labour forces. This gives all the power and money to the rich and weakens the poor.

Assuming your correct, so what is our alternative? Your solutions?

  • DAVE ID // December 23, 2007 at 7:28 am

The solution is a change of philosophy that exorbitant profits aren’t necessary. You don’t have to always do better than your last quarter. Less companies should on the stock market and just run themselves instead of enslaving themselves to the whims of the market and shareholders.

Force US industry to manufacture their products in the US using US labor (with a living wage). These laborers will have enough money to live and spend on these products and the economy will run itself.

Make laws that prevent CEOs from making 400 to 500 times more than their lowest paid employees. That’s just wasting money.

Universal Healthcare so everyone can be healthy without cost. Healthy people show up for work, make more money and contribute more to society than the tax costs of universal healthcare impute on the taxpayers.

Take a small percentage of the warmachine’s budget and rebudget education making college available to everyone who choses to attend without getting indebted for life. Educated people have better jobs and better money. People with more money are statistically healthier and spend more and contribute more into the economy.

Right now the system is run so the rich can get richer and the laborers (blue or white collar) just work more for less. I swear if I hear one more time “Do more with less” in a corporate meeting I attend, I’ll bloody murder someone.

We need these socio-democratic laws so that the little-guy can have a chance and not be stuck working crappy jobs when he should be enjoying his retirement, to pay for pills because there’s no price regulation on medication under the guise that R&D doesn’t pay for itself.

I got a bunch of other ideas, but I’m tired and need to goto bed.

Just wonder how educated TRM is? Can’t tell difference between use of less and fewer?

You sound like you really enjoy playing the class card and are jealous of those who actually pull themselves up by their bootstraps. I’ve seen many people milking the system and taxpayers who don’t have the material things some on welfare enjoy. For some reason many poor people think they should be entitled to taxpayers’ supporting their own desire to have large families.
Oh yes, R&D does NOT pay for itself. The whole process is a big roll of the dice and as an investor I’ve gambled and lost big on drug companies. I still think government has no business subsidizing art or paying big agricultural subsidies to millionaires in Manhattan…or paying tobacco farmers subsidies while decrying the evils of tobacco and collecting big regressive taxes on backs of poor people.

I would encourage everyone to read the decline and fall of the roman empire, the similarities to the united states and the current political atmosphere is astounding and very similar to the later part of the roman empire. History does repeat itself.
