So what happens to countries that signed the Kyoto Protocol but fail to meet greenhouse gas emissions limits? Fines. Lots of fines. Most, if not all of the money paid for by none other than the taxpayers of those countries.

WHAT’S THE NEXT MOVE FOR CHAVEZ?

I am not surprised of the outcome of the vote, even though it was very close.  I am surprised Hugo Chavez is accepting it.  He’s got until 2012 to figure out another angle to hold onto power.  We shall wait and see, wait and see.

A SHORT ARGUMENT FOR SCHOOL CHOICE VIA VOUCHERS

Everyone has heard the arguments about “separation of church and state”, something I must add does not actually appear in our Constitution, that is a liberal interpretation.   I agree, that in a public school where the spectrum of beliefs are too wide to apply a cookie cutter approach, religion should not be a part.  No one, especially me, is saying a Hindu kid should be forced to recite the “Lords Prayer” or a Christian child should be forced to face Mecca five times a day and pray to Allah.

But isn’t the denial of the right to pray, if they so choose, an encroachment on the free exercise rights of the students?
